'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League comeback

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his enthusiasm in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an impressive 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the initial significant achievement of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he previously was, and would certainly contemplate extending his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be open to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had escaped him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
